“I thank God for Mama Wilfrida Orphanage. I was taken here when I was 6 years old after losing both parents. At Mama Wilfrida I found love. Then I was taken to grade one and then I went up to grade eight then join high school; grade nine to grade twelve. After that Pastor Samson took me to Technical School where I learn to be a welder. It was not easy. I thought of running away, but I was praying for a better future. I continue until I graduated. Now I can earn my living. I am married with two children. Praise God.”

“I came in Mama Wilfrida Home and join grade one after both my parents were killed in the same day. It was a very bad day for us all as their children. But being an orphan is not the end of life. What a big love from Mama Betty and Pastor Samson after finishing my elementary and high school education. I found my name being listed among those were joining University so I said I want to study Banking. I join university and after four years I pass with the Second Honor Degree. So am still looking for a job. There are no work in Kenya. I am happy of my life that I can do good work one day.”

“I am one of the luckiest. When I join Mama Wilfrida I said “Lord thank you for bringing to this home.” After seven year struggle with life I was left with very old grandmother. After graduating from high school I ask Pastor Samson that I want to be a social worker. Then mother Betty and Pastor Samson took me to one of the Best college in Siaya County where I did my course as a social worker. I just finished my course last December, 2023 with a big pass. I am going to help in our home of Mama Wilfrida first then one day I may go back for further studies.”
